We prioritize public safety as a fundamental aspect of community well-being. By fostering collaboration between local law enforcement, community organizations, and residents, we aim to create safer neighborhoods. Our approach includes implementing community policing strategies, increasing awareness about safety resources, and organizing safety workshops. Community Safety and Accountability: My Commitment

The city has implemented numerous programs to improve community safety. However, from my perspective, there has been a noticeable shift in responsibility towards residents, rather than holding municipal departments accountable and improving their efficiency. If I am elected, I will ensure:

1. Adequate Funding and Resources for Community Safety: I will prioritize securing the necessary financial and other resources to implement effective public safety measures in our communities.
2. Accountability Focused on Municipal Departments: I will advocate for a rebalancing of accountability, with a greater emphasis on municipal departments fulfilling their responsibilities, rather than shifting the burden to the public.

My first task upon election will be to conduct a thorough assessment of community needs through the lens of public safety. This assessment will guide the creation of a clear and actionable pathway for solutions. Importantly, this process will involve collaboration with residents and ensure all relevant departments are held accountable for community safety.
